2008 - Rahmaniac dream come true ..

As I am penning this, Benny and Shreya renders Kaise Mujhe for the 50th time in my Pod ..

2008 is a Rocking year for a Rahmaniac ..As many as 7 albums got released and Slum Dog Millionaire will be hitting early December .. He has once again proved that he is a versatile composer.. be it a period film (Jodhaa Akbar) or a Youthful Peppy movie (JTYJN/Sakarakatti) or a commercial masala (ATM/Ghajini) or a signature album (Ada) or western Orchestration (Yuvraaj) ..he exelled in whatever it takes..

This reminds me of the year 1999 where He was at his best with a total of 9 albums(En Swasa Kaatre / Padayappa/ Kadhalar Dhinam / Taal / Sangamam / Jodi / Takshak / Mudhalvan /
Taj Mahal) to his credit.

When each album gets out, the first reaction as many ppl say is "Arr Magic is missing ..Blah Blah.." Even I have got many critics on ARR in my room and they love doing it not becoz they don't like the music but to pull my legs .. 'Rahman's compositions are slow poison..' That I would say only for a Non Rahmaniac and a true one can get hold of his compositions in a couple of listens... Others will take time to digest his compositions and appreciate it ..

Anyways hope 2009 would also be a Rocking one or even better than this year .. Waiting for ROBO / BLUE / DILLI 6 / COM / MARMAYOGI /19TH STEP / SULTAN / CONNECTIONS and the list goes on ...

True Rahmaniac is much bothered about the audio that comes OUT .. Even if the movie is a Super Dooper Flop, ARR's tracks always remains as a Master piece .. :D

i remember bharatiraja commenting 'tajmahal' was a flop mainly due to its music :P
abt choosing movies.. now that ur thalai has been doing this for almost 18 yrs, he shd focus on choosing descent movies that he can power up with his music(like minnale for harris).. if he's not bothered abt the movie/script, better release the tracks as singles :D

and am not taking away any credit frm the genius, though :)
